Nasce a Macao un laboratorio per la costruzione e la riparazione di sound system sotto tutti gli aspetti, dalla falegnameria all'elettronica. Verranno programmati workshop di riconatura, riparazione finali e costruzione cabinet. Un incontro fisso la domenica dalle 16 in poi per scambiarsi conoscenza e buone vibes e la possibilità di prenotare il lab in settimana per riparazioni. Per info unitysoundlab@gmail.com.

J.T. - KIBIR LA AMLAK:
The name Kibir La Amlak resonates independently in the universe of contemporary dub and roots reggae. Jamie ‘JT’ Thomas is the captain at the helm of this vessel, who has the role as label, studio and sound system at the same time and who calls London his home port. Deep basses, mystical delays, Nyahbingi percussions, triumphant brasses and stepper patterns, those are the ingredients for this indispensable journey.
Kibir La Amlak pay homage to the traditional sound system style whilst offering a respectful and unique twist of their own. As dub music journeys and grows into increasingly electronic and dance influenced forms Kibir La Amlak steadfastly hold onto the roots and culture that the scene was built upon.

JT operates the sound system and selects the music; from vintage revival roots to the freshest dub plate selections from the KLA studio; overlaid with a myriad of analogue reverbs, delays, sirens and filters with vocal improvisations and harmonies over dubwise versions.

A regular feature in top sound system arenas such as University of Dub and Teachings in Dub, Kibir La Amlak have earned a place alongside the greatest names in the sound system world and have rocked sessions all over the UK, Europe and beyond.

Artista italo/ senegalese . Cresce nella scena torinese con l'associazione Serengeti, con la quale stampa i primi due singoli " problems all around " e " mankind solidarity ". Ha collaborato con l'etichetta torinese " 4Weed " con il singolo " warmonger e con l'etichetta senegalese Amoul Bayi Records i singoli " my sweet Afreeka. Numerose sono le collaborazioni con diversi sound System della scena italiana e Europea. Ha partecipato a festival come il Manuel Dub of Sicily e Bagnols Reggae Festival . Attualmente è il cantante principale nel gruppo Universal Tribe , roots reggae band piemontese.

THUNDER OF JAH ARMY SOUND SYSTEM:
Il Progetto Thunder of Jah Army nasce nel 2010 con il nome di Mystical Vibez Messegers Sound System e con un piccolo Sound Autocostruito. Alla fine del 2011 decide di creare un vero e proprio Sound System e cambiare il nome in Tunder of Jah Army, da quel giorno T.O.J. Sound comincia ad attraversare festival by festival tutta l'italia e gran parte dell'Europa passando da grandi Festivals a Sessions a Meetings.
Tra il 2012 e il 2015 nascono molti progetti per il Sound System, Dall'organizzazione di "Dub in the Lons Den" "Roots of Knowledge" e il "Dubaaris Festival" con Artisti quali Far East e Mystical Powa, Moa Anbessa, Rots Hitek e Idren Natural.
Dal 2016 al 2018 Organizza "Dub Station Milano" collaborando con i maggiori esponenti del Dub Internazionale portandoli per la prima volta a Milano City.
Selezione focussata sugli anni 90'. Solid Selezione di Dubplates, Specials and Exclusive di piccoli e grandi artisti con cui abbiamo collaborato negli anni, produzioni proprie e vinili.
T.O.J. Produce nel suo studio dubplates e musica esclusiva che presenta alle session mantentendo il proprio Warrior Syle.
Con Thunder of Jah Army hanno colaborato e collaborano Artisti quali: Idren Natural, Ras Muffet Roots Injection, Roots Hitek, Nomadix, Afrikan Simba, Jonah Dan, Maasai Warrior, Kai Dub King Alpha, Murray Man, Ras Kush, Far East, Echotronix, Moa Anbessa, Prince David, Mystical Powa, Jules-I, Warrior Charge, Linea Di Massa, 48 Roots, Angel Dub, Roots Reality, Infiammati Dub, Sankara Warriors.. & many others...

BLUE SHEPHERD SOUND SYSTEM:
The Blue Shepherd Sound System, voice of The Hidden Tones. È la naturale prosecuzione del nostro cammino, che ci ha portati da essere una band ad essere produttori, e ora anche soundmen! Eravamo una live band reggae quando scoprimmo la nicchia della cultura Soundsystem di ispirazione jamaicana ed il fascino del disco in vinile. Il principio di questo progetto fu la voglia comune di sette ragazzi di fare e condividere musica in modo diverso da quello a cui siamo abituati nel terzo millennio: lo stile è quello della fusione del piacere e l’intrattenimento della musica suonata dal vivo con la tradizionale cultura jamaicana del Soundsystem.
