Focus:
Becoming more confident with ‘listening’ to the urban and natural environment

Course Content:
Introduce participants to musique concrète/sampling. Familiarize participants with making their own contact microphone, recording samples and – if time allows – sequencing and building loops. Go over basic concepts in soldering, contact mic making and sampling/recording. Participants then spend some time sampling/recording fun objects throughout the space.
