I Kill Your Boyfriend nascono nel 2011 come side project di elementi dei Wora Wora Washington, Transisters e Kitsune. La loro ricerca sonora spazia dallo shoegaze alla psichedelia, dalla wave all’elettronica filtrata da una sensibilità diretta e viscerale, raffinata e
violenta. Dopo il notevole esordio, s_t, uno split con i New Candys, il secondo devastante album The King is Dead e un numero consistente di concerti tra Italia, Germania e Svizzera, hanno pubblicato un nuovo elaborato ep intitolato "Ghost". Un live fantastico.
Kill Your Boyfriend is a two-piece band formed in 2011 in Venice, Italy. (Matteo Scarpa on guitar and vocals, and Antonio Angeli on drums). After spending the last years performing across Europe, opening for The KVB, ZU, Zola Jesus, Civil Civic and many others, the band released their Single "Ulrich" via Other Voices Records, such a perfect follow up for their previous EP "Ghosts"(Shyrec Records). The song comes from the need that each of us has in
seeking his own role in modern society. The B-side "Werner" is a slope of EP "Ghosts". It deals with the theme of ghosts generated by past mistakes. They reach you anyway, slowly strangulating you to death.
