The strong beer festival, also called Munich’s fifth season, takes place every year during the Lenten season after Carnival and before Easter. Besides the Oktoberfest, the Starkbierfest is the second big beer festival in Munich and the perfect opportunity to soak up some Munich tradition and learn more about the art of brewing.

Munich’s largest and most famous strong beer festival takes places in the Paulaner Nockherberg where the full-bodied “Salvator” beer is being served and a rich entertainment program creates authentic Oktoberfest atmosphere. In 2018 you can enjoy this happening from the 2nd until the 25th of March.
